The osteopath will obtain a thorough medical case history. This investigates details on the presenting symptoms of the complaint, previous medical and family histories, and trauma experienced.
This will be followed by an osteopathic assessment. The patient will be instructed to perform simple movements in order to evaluate mobility and dysfunction. Neurological and orthopaedic tests may be conducted to assess the patient’s health in detail.
If further information is required about your health you will be recommended to seek your doctor.
The duration of the osteopathic consultation will approximately take 40 minutes.
